There are about nine house owners that rents rooms to tourists, actually only 7 are already actives in the reception and accomodation of tourists. The prices are between 8 to 23 euros per room; Each rooms are distinct in quality from one another thats why the differences between prices.
Evident is that the rooms are not ~five star hotels quality, but the hygiene and the comfort of the beds is assured. Chã doesn't have light nor running water, you will have on your disposition camping gas lamps, petroleum candles or ordinary candles and a bucket of water for washing and bathing.
Water is scarced and very expensive in Chã das Caldeiras, thats why a lot of it is not used and the used waters is recycled to cleaning and washing the toilets.
